Mokagames develops and publishes mobile games, including Merge2048 and 2048 Hexagon (the "Apps"). This policy explains why and how we process your personal data when you use our Apps.
Mokagames is operated by Maxence Laurencin, an individual based in France. Mokagames is not a separate legal entity.
For any questions regarding your privacy, please contact us at maxence.laurencin@gmail.com.
When you install and use our Apps, we collect and process information to ensure the performance of our services and to deliver advertisements. We do not offer accounts, sign-in, or cloud save at this time.
We do not collect data that directly identifies you, such as your name, physical address, or phone number. We process technical identifiers (such as advertising IDs) and device information, primarily through third-party SDKs integrated into the Apps.
| Purpose | Categories of Personal Data | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising: Displaying ads within our Apps through AppLovin MAX mediation and its connected ad networks, measuring ad performance, and managing your advertising consent preferences. Ad selection and personalization is carried out by our advertising partners, acting as independent data controllers. | Advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android), device information, approximate location (country-level), ad interaction data | Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland, via the consent form described in Section 1.3); legitimate interest or other applicable basis elsewhere |
| Analytics: Understanding app usage and engagement, using Google Firebase Analytics. | Identifiers (app-instance identifiers, advertising identifiers), usage data, device information, approximate location (country-level) | Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland); legitimate interest or other applicable basis elsewhere |
| Stability and Crash Monitoring: Detecting and diagnosing crashes and technical issues, using Google Firebase Crashlytics. | Identifiers (installation identifier), device information (model, OS version), crash logs, app version | Legitimate interest |
| Tracking across apps and websites (iOS only): Requesting your permission, as required by Apple, before any cross-app tracking identifier is used. | IDFA, if you grant permission | Consent (App Tracking Transparency prompt) |
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the Apps display a consent form on first launch, provided through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP), before any advertising or analytics identifiers are collected or used. You can change your choices at any time from the Privacy button in the app's menu.
On iOS, before the consent form above, the Apps ask for your permission to track you across other companies' apps and websites, as required by Apple. This is a separate, one-time system prompt controlled by Apple. You can change your choice at any time in your device's Settings under Privacy & Security > Tracking.
We do not operate our own servers storing personal data collected through the Apps; data described in this policy is collected and retained by our third-party providers (Google, AppLovin, and connected ad networks) under their own retention policies, linked above. We do not separately store or retain this data ourselves.
Our Apps are not designed for or directed at children under the age of 16. If you are under 16, do not use our Apps.
We do not generally ask users to provide their date of birth. Where required by applicable law, including in connection with consent for personalized advertising, we may ask you to confirm that you are over 16 before allowing you to consent to the processing of your personal data for such purposes.
Age ratings assigned by app stores (such as the App Store or Google Play) reflect content classification criteria set by those platforms, and may indicate that an App is suitable for users under 16. Such ratings do not mean that our Apps are designed for, directed at, or intended for minors.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address above so we can address it.
Some of our partners (Google, AppLovin, and connected ad networks) may be located or process data outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, including in the United States.
In such cases, transfers are carried out by those partners in compliance with applicable data protection laws, relying on mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards recognized under EU/UK/Swiss data protection law.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, or Swiss data protection law:
Because most data described in this policy is collected and processed directly by our third-party providers rather than stored by us, requests relating to that data may need to be directed to those providers as well — their contact details are linked in Section 1.5. You can also contact us directly at any time, and we will assist where we can.
If you are located outside the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, you may still have rights under your local law; please contact us with any request and we will do our best to assist.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, in particular as new features are added to the Apps. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
